From having a new baby on the cusp of a pandemic to entering into uncharted waters with international travel shut down and major marathons cancelled, saying 2020 is not what Kelly expected is an understatement. Rather than dwelling on the negatives, Kelly has focused on finding the silver linings, like having the chance to (virtually) run across the US, the future return to racing, and most importantly the health of her friends, family and extended FITfam.

We were lucky enough to meet Bryon during the 2019 Berlin Marathon FIT trip, where he radiated positivity, even in the rain at mile 17. It was a busy weekend and while we were able to get pieces of Bryon’s story, we wanted to sit down with him to dive deeper, knowing there was much more to uncover.
