Kelly has run the last NINE events in her trusty Guinness hat. It’s become quite the streak and she’s not one to break with tradition. The hat has proved to be brilliant on sunny days when the crowd chants “Go on Arthur - Go on the Guinness,” but we all know sunny days are few and far between in Ireland. But even when it’s become a nuisance on those extremely soggy race days, it never fails to bring out good humor and makes her easy to spot! So always be on the lookout for the hat - she can’t leave for Ireland without it.
This event has also brought out some surprising spectators. Find out about Kelly’s encounters with a poodle and a deer in Phoenix Park here!
