FIT is excited for our race weekend HQ to be at the 4-star Hyatt Centric conveniently located 850m from the finish line at the Marine Corps Memorial. Easy to get to from the finish and accessible via walking to the marathon start all while being located off public transit to D.C. - this hotel is wonderful for marathon weekend!

We offer a 3-night or 4-night travel package - first decide which program you want.

We offer King Single, King Double, and Two Queen Packages for up to 4 travelers.

Entry is not included in the package pricing and must be added on by those looking to run the Marine Corps Marathon. Entry is only provided along with a full travel package.

Max Entries Per Room Type: Single (1), Double or Twin (2), Triple (3), Quad (4). Entry payment is due in full at the time of booking. Entry costs and deposits are non-refundable.

All packages are priced per person.

If you are 2 people traveling sharing one room - you need to book a double or 2 Queen room x 2 packages when booking your reservation.

Traveling on your own & need entry? Select a single room option and add on a marathon entry.

• 2 Double Packages or 2x the Two Queen Bed Packages

• Add on 1 or 2 entries as needed for this reservation type

For triples, book a total of 3 packages.

FAMILIES: To accommodate 2 adults and 2 children please select 2 Packages for the Two Queen Package - children under 17 are free.

When will I get my entry to the marathon? 

Through our partnership as an official tour operator with the MCM Marathon, FIT has a secured a set amount of guaranteed entries to the event. FIT will email information on the registration process by Spring 2025.

What is the payment schedule? 

At the time of booking an initial deposit of $450USD per traveler is due. Final payments are due before July 18, 2025 and automatically charged on July 17, 2025. Payments can be made at any point by logging into your account and making another deposit. FIT is happy to set up an additional automatic schedule for you, please let us know. Any accounts where a payment defaults at the final payment deadline, will be contacted and have 5 days to make the final payment. After that time, reservations will automatically be cancelled without refund.

What are the cancellation terms?

The initial deposit per person is non-refundable including any payments made for race entry. If you have paid an amount over the required deposit, any refunds will be honored less a 4% admin fee. After the final payment deadline of July 18, 2025 program costs are non-refundable. Where and if possible, FIT will do our best to help offset cancellation penalties should you need to cancel in the future (not guaranteed). We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your travel investment.

Can I change my package in the future? 

If we have the space we are happy to see if we can switch your travel package. Please note if you are reducing travel length or options you added, cancellation penalties for changes may apply.

If I am traveling with a friend / family member that is not running, how do I book their reservation? 

Excellent question! If you want a room with 1 bed (i.e. share a bed) - Select 2 Double Packages and add-on 1 marathon entry. If you want a room with 2 beds, you would select 2x Two-Queen Bed Packages & Add-On 1 marathon entry, etc.

Total packages in both examples equals two.

If I am traveling with a friend but we each want our own invoice how do we book? 

You can each make a reservation on your own via the booking portal. Make sure you discuss beforehand what package and room type you want to book (4 or 3 night program, King Bed or Two Queen Beds, etc). You can then each individually head to book. In this scenario, select 1 package each, runners will select an entry add-on as needed, and head to check out. During the participant answer section you will highlight that you are rooming with the other individual and we will pair you together in one room. We only accept 1 package reservations for double and/or two queen bed rooms if you have a friend or family signing up on the same day. We do not match runners in rooms together.

I am traveling alone but want to book the double and/or twin room?

Double and Two Queen Room reservation pricing are only applicable for two people sharing the one room. FIT does not match individuals in a room together, so if you are traveling alone you are eligible to book the single room option. If you find a friend, family member, or other runner in the future to share with you and we still have space, we can update your reservation to the share pricing.
